My Name is Emily, and I am a 16 year old student participating in an expedition to Ecuador in July 2017. This will be a four-week expedition and will include development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation.
The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:
Raise the educational standards of Ecuador, a developing country, from within its most rural districts.
Raise the living standards of the people of Ecuador, from within a rural community.
Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programmes to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.

This is extremely important to me because I would like to help those affected by the extremes of poverty and give them the opportunities to build a sustainable community in which they can strive for a better future.
I would be extremely grateful for any contribution you can make towards my fundraising.

So far I raised £2000 from doing the three peaks challenge, cake sales and stalls. The next challenge I will be doing a Chinese Auction and a Christmas stall. I have got £1000 left to raise I would very grateful if you would be able to donate.
