Last year Sean's wonderful mum was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer and given only a year to live. Complications meant that 9weeks later we lost her, and with her a beautiful and perfect mum, mum-in-law and best friend. We basically lived with her at Castle Hill Hospital Queen's Centre for her last five weeks and they were absolutely amazing with her, us, and the rest of the family. Without their support and care none of us would have made it through in one piece and we are forever grateful to them. They use money raised to buy easy chairs for the rooms that can be used by patients and visitors. Having this chair meant that not only could Judy get out of bed sometimes, but also that we could sleep next to her using the recliner and it was so valuable to every single one of us. These chairs cost around £1000 and we would love to be able to help them purchase another so that other families going through what we went through can spend those valuable minutes with a loved one.
