George is a nephew of a friend of mine who is living with something called Hemiplegia. It’s a condition that affects one side of the body, in George’s case, his right- hand side. It means that he has difficulty with his hand and arm. Unfortunately, a side effect of his condition is that he also has Epilepsy.
The aim is to raise £10,000 this year so that George can have Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT). It will have such a positive impact on him. Any additional funds raised will go to Hemihelp, an organisation supporting children and young people with hemiplegia, and their families.
On behalf of George and Hemihelp, I am going to take part in a group skydive on the 10th June 2017.
