Story
We are raising money for a charity called Target Ovarian who is the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. They work to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide much-needed support to women with ovarian cancer.
As second year Events Students, as part of our studies we have to hold a charitable event.
We have chosen to raise money through a 1920's themed social event with the chance to learn more about the charity as well as speak to those directly affected by Ovarian Cancer whilst enjoying a night filled with singing, dancing, Gatsby Film Screening, nibbles and drinks!
The aim of our event is to raise as much money as we can for this charity as they help to change the lives of those affected by cancer as well as those around them.
Target Ovarian is the only charity fighting ovarian cancer across all four nations of the UK. Ovarian cancer can be devastating.
But there is hope – Target Ovarian Cancer.
They work with women, family members and health professionals to ensure they target the areas that matter most for those living with ovarian cancer.
If you know anyone affected by cancer or just want to show your support, it will be greatly appreciated.
The money raised will help to run our Gatsby 1920's themed event with all profits made going to Target Ovarian Cancer charity, the more money raised, the more we will be able to deliver at our event and therefore in turn, will have more profits to donate to this well deserved charity.
