Story
So long story short my partner underwent double hip surgery and came out four inches wider.
After trying for nearly a month to get a new chair to replace his current one which is no longer suitable for his needs and is causing him pain, we discover wheelchair services cannot provide him with the chair that suits his requirements and it could take up to 18 weeks before a chair that is not quite right to be built.
His pain is getting worse and after having an ambulance called, because he cannot cope with it anymore, a safe guarding report was filed stating his current chair is causing some of his pain and other problems and is not suitable now his body has changed post surgery.
The surgery process alone has been an emotional roller coaster and now to discover the ideal chair is not even available has left he disheartened. I would love to raise the money so he can have the right chair.
All that matters to me is his happiness and wellbeing. So if you feel like helping it would be very much appreciated as his wheelchair is his freedom and independence.

As his hips have become wider he no longer fits properly in his current wheelchair which is causing him a lot of pain and discomfort. Wheelchair services have not been able to modify his chair nor replace it with one that suits as he has quite specific needs.
