The Glossopdale Charity crafters have made thousands of items over it's first year. We make angel gowns and cribs for babies born too soon, premature baby clothes,bonding squares, octopuses to help keep babies calm, bags to support drainage bags to help patients with cancer, twiddlemuffs and busy blankets for patients with Alzheimer's,dementia or autism, blankets and hats for people who are homeless, a range of items for refugees in camps all over Europe including baby boxes for newborns, poppies for the Royal British Legion, bees for the Derbyshire Wildlife trust,hats and scarves for children in refuges at Christmas and so much more. All this requires an awful lot of wool, fabric and other resources. We do some fundraising but rely heavily on donations to keep the 300 plus volunteers supplied with all they need. We really need more now to carry on with the work we are doing supporting thousands of people in Greater Manchester and beyond. Everything donated is used for our projects and photographs are regularly put on our Facebook page for our supporters.
