Weʼve raised £60 to help fund a new mower for our cricket club

    Story

Hambrook Cricket Club desparately need to purchase a new mower with a trailing seat as the current one is beyond economical repair.

This mower was purchased second hand about 30 years ago, suffice to say it has seen good use in this time. Despite our best attempts to keep it running the machine cannot be revived.

There is little or no availability of a good quality second hand machines so the club has no option other than purchase a new one before the new season starts in April.

Without replacing the mower, the club will struggle to maintain the cricket square - this would have a huge negative impact on both our senior and ever expanding youth teams.

Any donation no matter how small would be hugely appreciated and would help support the other fundraising activities we have planned.
Whilst the club is well run and financially stable, finding resource for a one off purchase on this scale is never easy.

In recent years the club has seen a resurgence in its on field success with its senior teams. At the same time its youth programme has expanded and now offers cricket to boys and girls from ages 5 to 17.

Hambrook Cc is an ECB/ Sport England Clubmark club - it has demonstrated it is a child safe and well managed club.

Thank you in anticipation of any donation you are able to provide.

Martin Dyer - Chairman, Hambrook CC.
