Some of you may or may not know Hannah Black/Hayes is currently having a really difficult time.

Hannah was suffering from head aches/nausea since May last year. She was diagnosed with a malformation on the brain, which required surgery on the 31st of October 2016. It was said that the procedure was straight forward & Hannah would be at home recovering within a day. There was complications with the procedure, which resulted in Hannah having a bleed to the brain & an air bubble went into her brain. Hannah was in intensive care for a period, as she was suffering from severe long term & short term memory loss, she had no speech & had no mobility.

Hannah is currently still in hospital with similar symptoms. She has short term & long term memory loss, has no mobility & is unable to complete basic care tasks. Hannah still has swelling on her brain & consultants are still exploring the cause of the swelling & how to treat it.

The reason we have decided to set up a just giving page is that there are a lot of unknowns at present. It has been a difficult decision to share Hannah's current situation as it is private, however as we all know financial burdens do not go away easily. Due to Hannah having no diagnosis at present her car finance and mortgage are not willing to offer any financial support. Hannah is unable to work and Ashleigh, her partner is currently spending every day with Hannah to support her, which has also resulted in her not working at the moment either.

We are aware Hannah's recovery is going to be a very long term process & her family, friends and other networks are trying to offer as much practical support as possible to aid Hannah's future. This page has been created to allow us all to support her through this difficult period & take away some of the financial strain she is experiencing.

Some may know Hannah has had her fair share of difficult times, particularly losing her mum at a very young age. I hope you can all support Hannah :)
