Hastings Bonfire Society has just had their fireworks stolen!
In 1 week's time on 15 October 2016, Hastings is celebrating the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, the most important date in British history. The resulting victory of the French Normans over our last English Saxon King Harold changed the course of our culture and way of life forever.
People are coming from all over the world to celebrate with us...but now there's no fireworks!
Please donate what you can to help us celebrate with our friends, family and visitors.
HASTINGS BONFIRE SOCIETY donates a lot of money to local charities too.
Please spread the word. We don't have much time!
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
May the spirits of our Norman and Saxon ancestors salute you!
Thanks so very much to everyone who has already donated, and for your lovely, kind words too! We love you 'guys'........:-)
