There are many women in the UK today who just can not afford to buy sanitary products. Although it's hard for a lot of us to imagine, sometimes it really is a case of feeding the family or buying towels. Some girls have to miss school each month because they can't access them, either because their parents can't afford to buy them or sadly aren't willing to give the money for them.

There is a drive on BC to collect sanitary items to donate to those in need. A basic pack of pads cost just 25p, so if we can raise just a little money we really could help a lot of these less fortunate women and children.
