Weʼve raised £2,668 to Help Harry and his family through their journey fighting his brain tumour.

Funded on Friday, 31st March 2017

    Story

Harry was only 5 when they found a large tumour in his spinal cord. He had two major operations to remove the tumour - unfortunately they couldn't remove it in full. The operations left him unable to move. After weeks in hospital, months learning to walk again and countless hospital trips we thought he was on the mend. However his tumour is growing again and has spread to his brain. He will need 18 months of chemotherapy to try to stop the growth.

We are raising money, through a variety of sponsored events, to help him and his wonderful family through this ordeal. The money raised will help cover the costs of his many trips to Addenbrooks from Norfolk and go towards the costs to keep him comfortable and happy during the treatment.

Better week this week with the family having a hospital free weekend at last. Harry was tired with little appetite but at least the nasty bugs that lead to high temperatures stayed away letting Mummy enjoy seeing all her children at the same time. Harry's in for treatment number 5 this afternoon. Fingers crossed he has a good week again as the fundraiser is this Saturday! Everyone's welcome - we have some great stalls and entertainment organized. See you all there. Any donations, both monetary and for the cake stall(!), gratefully received x
