In 2011 whilst backpacking around the world, it was during my New Zealand visit whilst working at The Store in Kekerengu where I met the wonderful Henry family. The Henry's kindly allowed me to live at their unique and quirky little home in the Clarance Valley, Kaikora during the last few weeks of my visit.

Even though we are on opposite sides of the world, I have still managed to keep in touch with Esther and Chessie.

I'm sure you've heard the news of the recent New Zealand earthquake?! Well, they do tend to have their fair share bless them, but this one has broken a lot of hearts. This one has torn apart the Henry Family Home. A home where memories were made by a group of us who worked at The Store back in 2011 when we all got together at the Henry household where we would be wined and dined and very well looked after indeed.

After reading Chessie's story (see link below) I felt I just had to give something back to this amazing family. I know it probably wont be enough to put their Clarance home back together, but it can go towards a new home, where new memories can be made.
