Weʼve raised £295 to buy an electric wheelchair

Funded on Sunday, 5th March 2017

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

I am trying to raise funds an electric wheelchair for Michael, a young local man who has lost his independence since his old electric wheelchair wore out after years of use. Michael has been without a wheelchair for a very long time now which means he is tied to the house most days.

Michael has a condition called Arthrogryposis Congenital multiplex; this affects all four limbs which means he cannot walk or push a manual chair.

An electric wheelchair would completely change his life and enable him to go out with friends or even just go down to the local shop.

Could you please help to make this possible for him, every little donation helps, please dig deep if you can to make this happen for Michael.

Could I ask that every single person reading this please share with your friends and ask your friends and friends of friends to share too. I am so eager to get this electric wheelchair for Michael. All he wants is to go down to the corner shop or nip round to a friend for an hour or so independently just like you and I. We can do that without even having to think about it. If everyone who's reads could donate just £1 it would mount up,very quickly especially if everyone shared it. Please would you help us to achieve this xx

Wow! Funds nearly doubled in one day after this had been shared by Mike's friends. Thank you so much could all Mikes friends please share with their friends and friends of friends please. Thank you to my friends and family who have donated and if there is anyone else out there that could help Michael please please donate. Getting around is something we all take for granted yet for Michael just a trip to town on his own would mean so much to him, he told me so on Wednesday. As Tesco say 'Every little helps'
