From the School newsletter today...

The Government is continuing to cut funding to mainstream schools, nationwide. Our school will be affected, detrimentally, by this significant decrease in funding. The financial year has begun and the budget has been set, but inly with reductions to provision. These will include: no replacement for TAs who will be leaving the school, for maternity or otherwise; software subscriptions cut; a reduction to curriculum spending; fewer visits from specialist subject teachers (Spanish & Music); roof work and outside classroom projects postponed. Also school trips will not go ahead unless the school receives sufficient parental contributions to make them viable...

We call upon the support of our entire parent community at this time and we are grateful, to you, for it.
