My name is Jazz and I am a retired riding school horse at Aberdeen Riding Club. I have taught over 200 people to ride. Everyone loved to ride with me, as I would canter very fast and loved to jump!

I am owned by Aberdeen Riding Club, which is a not for profit club. The aim of the club is to make riding accessible to all people. The Riding Club is moving and needs to raise funds to transport all of us riding school horses to the new fields.

I am retired now, but I still get to join in. So I thought that I would help the Club by trying to raise £600 to help 30 horses move home. I have convinced my special friend Alison (who looks after me in my old age) to go on a 24 hour fast on Sunday 19th February! She is going to eat only lettuce for a day and drink only water. There is not much lettuce just now, so I think she is going to be very hungry!

I am not going to fast, because I eat like a horse, but I am going to give up all my carrots and mints for the day as well.
