Huddersfield Change Product was set up to provide much needed, direct support to people living on the streets, sleeping rough or struggling in everyday life. As well as delivering food and essential items directly to the people on the streets, we are aiming to provide support and guidance for mental health issues, Addiction concerns, housing and rehousing, and signpost anyone who needs us towards a better life,

Without a central "Hub" premises, a lot of the early work has been done directly from home and by using local village halls etc to organise our rucksack project and for team meetings. The establishment of a premises will not only give us the chance to have our own meeting place but will also give our "clients" somewhere to come for a warm smile, a meal, a hot drink and to see what items we have available to give out to them.

In addition we will be able to work closely with all the other, more established services in our town so as to integrate and be able to direct people to the other services available.

Huddersfield Change Project has been entirely funded from public donations so far but without continuing financial support, we cannot establish ourselves further and move forwards.
