Ian was a successful, hard working Business Analyst who sadly was struck down by three strokes in as many years. Devastatingly, while in a rehabilitation centre, Ian developed pneumonia and passed away on Saturday 27th August 2016.

During the months and years Ian was unable to work, he worked hard to raise money for the stroke unit that cared for him after his first two strokes. Leaving behind his wife, Michelle, and three young children, they now find themselves in a precarious financial situation. Michelle has been struggling to make ends meet, while holding the family together after losing Ian.

Ian's friends and former colleagues at the FT want to help the family as much as possible while they struggle to adjust to life without Ian, and find their feet again. We are holding a fundraiser quiz night and auction at 6.00pm at the Yorkshire Grey pub (http://theyorkshiregrey.london), Holborn, London on Friday 27th January 2017.

Tickets for the quiz are £15 each and all proceeds will go towards this cause.

A raffle and an auction will also be held on the night with some great prizes, including a painting by Andrew Marr, champagne, a weekend away in a cottage retreat, plus many, many more!
