Story
Dementia NI is a relatively new charity which aims to challenge the stigma of a dementia diagnosis by raising awareness about dementia across Northern Ireland. Along with promoting the rights of people living with dementia, the charity offers training to organisations and the public on how to support people living with dementia through education and suggested steps to make the places they visit more enabling and dementia-friendly. The charity offers individuals living with dementia a safe and secure environment to come together, with the support of staff and volunteers.
Support for those living with dementia is something which is very close to our family and along with 3 others I will be walking the Inca Trail to raise money for this extremely worthwhile cause and we would love your support.

7 years agoMade it to Machu Picchu! 26 miles over 4 days, 34 hours walking, but what an amazing experience and I would do it all again tomorrow! Thanks everyone for you support , kind words and generous donations for this worth while cause. Hope to see you all soon ❤️

7 years agoSharing the top of Slieve Commedagh with the sheep! We climbed Slieve Donard and then Slieve Commedagh last Saturday. We experienced all seasons of weather in one climb!
