Hello everyone, for those of you that don't know me, my name is India Bluebell and I am just 4 years old.
Many of you may know that my grandad, 'grumpy bear', sadly passed away at the end of last year from cancer, (cancer is a very big bully). It was a very sad time for us all.

Just down from 'grumpy Bears' room, there was a family room that had some fantastic things in there. It had a big TV, a music box, games and lots and lots of craft things. All of these things kept me very busy and distracted so I wouldn't get bored or cause any mischief. I saw lots of poorly people in there so I had to keep quiet and have something to do.

Before 'grumpy bear' got very poorly, he told us that he wished that he had more time to be able to give something back to the hospitals. To thank the staff and for the hospitals to be able to continue to provide great fun things for other little boys and girls to play with when they are either visiting their families in hospital or even maybe if they are poorly and sick themselves.

After 'grumpy bear' passed away, we, as a family, decided to raise some money to start a charity in 'grumpys' name, to do the things that he dreamed of, to make other poorly people's experiences less scary than his was, to support the lovely nurses and provide a comfortable journey for all of the families.

Daddy has registered us to do a 'mini marathon', daddy is allowed to run with me, as I'm only 4 and I might get lost. This race is 2km long, which to me and my little legs, is like a marathon to all of you adults, but I am so excited. If I finish it, I may also get a medal too.

We are asking all of our family and friends to just spare or donate a little money, no matter how big or how small, so that we can begin to set up this very worthy cause in "grumpy Bears' name, to fulfil one of his last wishes. It costs £5000 to start a new charity, which I've been told is lots, and more than I have in my money box.
