MANCHESTER TO GENEVA - 7th-13th FEBRUARY ✈️

From the 7th to the 13th of February we will be rowing, skiing and cycling on our ergs from Manchester to Geneva in Switzerland to fundraise for a defibrillator and first aid/CPR training in our gym!

This is something I’ve wanted to push for a while and will continue to do so as much as I can🙋🏽‍♀️

I was diagnosed with a heart condition when I was 7 that at the time led to me being told I couldn’t participate in any form of exercise or sport as my heart beats too fast (LQTS)

Sudden cardiac arrests can happen to anyone, but the risk increases hugely when you have an ongoing condition.

If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of collapse, the chance of survival increases from 6% to 74%👏🏼

It’s so important to me as a gym and a community that we are doing everything we can to raise awareness and always be on top of our safety and knowledge, and we need everyone’s help to get us there!🤞🏼
