Story
When I was 14 i found out that I wouldn't be able to have children without 'medical support'. This was due to scar tissue and damage from abuse when I was a child. I resigned myself to this and carried on with my life. I went off the rails, got into trouble, screwed up my life.
Eventually I sorted things out. I moved away, got a job in healthcare, did good! Life had its ups and downs, as it does. Eventually, through some magical set of circumstances, I ended up pregnant, though ultimately alone. I know that this is a daily struggle for many people, and I am luckier than most.
My beautiful little'un is now nearly 3, and I am in a position to be able to buy a home for us. I have scrimped and saved, worked extra night shifts and gone without to be able to do this. The place is a bit of a hole, which is the only reason I've been able to afford it, and I've carefully budgeted for all the work, most of which I'll be doing myself.
However now I've found out that I've been a bit naive. The seller has left all of their rubbish in the house for me to deal with. I mean everything - 2 sofas and a rusty half a car in the garden, broken furniture, bags full of video tapes, old and dirty clothing, a disgusting mattress and bedframe, plus even a broken fridge and mouldy food, as well as washing up in the sink!
I'd put money aside to do the garden in time for summer for my little'un, but that money is now going to be spent on skips, and the extra time I need to get the place clear before I can start work on it.
I know I'm in a better position than a lot of people and I'm not expecting miracles, I've had one of those already!
But if anyone is of a mind to help out, I am my little'un would be extremely grateful, and I will forever pay it forward.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
Xx

7 years agoThanks to everyone for the help, I wasn't sure to even expect this, so thank you. I'm having some help with trips to and from the tip, and the new neighbours have been really helpful. I am going to use the money to buy some toys for the garden, hopefully a swing/slide combo. Thanks all again xx

Really hope you can get the rubbish sorted without having to spend the money you've saved up yourself. It might be worth posting on local Facebook site to see if you can get any local handymen to help
