Jack is a 4 year old Jack Russell who has been diagnosed with third degree antrimventricular block. There is a disruption of the electrical signal in the heart which means the Chambers are not talking to each other, this means he is unable to increase his heart rate to compensate for the increase in oxygen when he exerts himself. Jack is at risk of fainting and there is an increased chance of him sustaining a heart attack. There is no underlying cause of this and it could have been present from birth.

Jack has been referred to have a pacemaker fitted, if successful Jack could lead a perfectly normal life with regular check ups to monitor the pacemaker.

I am crowdfunding to have the pacemaker fitted and the cost of this is estimated to be £1,721.31. The remainder is to go towards his first check up after the operation.

Jack is noticeably different since his diagnosis, he is no longer happy and energetic, he is sad and frustrated. Please help Jack by making any donation to get Jack back.
