I am writing this on behalf of my two year old niece, Jess Scott. I am hoping to raise money to Astro turf part of the garden so she can go outside. Sadly back in December she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, T – cell non - Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The last few months have obviously been a significant strain on the family and has meant a lot of time spent in hospital, having treatment and if not in hospital unable to leave the house due to her having little or no immunity. They are also not allowed to be more than an hour away from the hospital which has pretty much curtailed any movement outside of the home.

There is a fantastic support network for Jess and her sister Izzy and Jess is a really fighter and has reacted mainly well to treatment. It is clear, however, that she will need to remain under a regime of ongoing chemotherapy, blood transfusions etc for at least another two years. This has meant my sister, husband and children are having to come to terms with a complete change in life style and one where it is impossible for my sister to work. It is here where I hope you may be able to help.

I would finally like to make it clear that any money would go towards supporting my sister’s family up to a level that she requires and no more – if this charity were to ‘take off’ I would look to support other families that are in a similar position that my sister has come to know well in the last 4 months.
