We are trying to raise £1450 to be able to buy our 6 year old daughter some radio aids to go with her hearing aids. After a long battle we managed to get the Dr's to listen to our concerns regarding her hearing. She has mild to moderate conductive hearing loss and she wears hearing aids from morning to night. We have managed to get an old radio aid system for her to try and she has found it so useful and been able to hear so much more when in a group like tennis lessons and rainbows. This old system uses wires from her hearing aids to a receiver she wears around her neck. We all know how cruel kids can be and we don't want her to have these wires to draw attention to them and give other kids the chance to bully her. We would love to be able to raise this money to be able to buy her the latest ones that just have a small unit that fits to the bottom of the hearing aid doing away with all wires.
