I am organising a 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE to raise money for Joseph and Alder Hey Hospital. Joseph is an exceptional young boy who I am proud to call my son! Joseph started chemotherapy in April 2016, after being diagnosed with brain and spinal tumours, he was also diagnosed with Hydrocephalus and NF1, he is registered partly sighted due to his issues. He has undergone 3 major surgeries, however, always has a smile on his face and NEVER complains!
Alder Hey is an amazing Hospital, the staff are second to none and we are so blessed to have it on our doorstep. We want to be able to give something back, whilst also being able to give Joseph a helping hand through his long life changing journey ahead.
We are going to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in one weekend in June 2017 (due to whether conditions and safety), and for anyone who knows me, they know climbing the stairs is normally enough exercise for one day!!! They also know I am not big on hand outs so this is my way of giving and raising awareness to all mums out there to trust your instincts when it comes to your babies and fight until someone listens!!!
