Story
The challenge: run 7 Marathons in 7 days to raise £7000
When: August 22nd 2017
Why: We want to support Bethesda Life Centre to send more children into further education to fulfil their dreams.
Eg. one young person wants to become a nurse to help others as she herself was helped; It costs £600 (60,000 Rupee's) per year to train as a nurse in Goa, £7000 would support 12 young people in following their dreams.
The Bethesda Life Centre (BLC) Story:
BLC (http://blcgoa.org) a charity in Goa, India, supports children from the margins of society to thrive. At BLC they are not only safe from the dangers of human trafficking and exploitation on the streets, but championed to follow their dreams, breaking the cycle of poverty.
