So here we go again - I'm trying this again so thank you for taking a couple of minutes to check out my page.

I'm actually only needing to raise £130 but JustGiving sets the page minimum at £200. This will support my place in the Mrs British Beauty Curve 2017 pageant. This is the first time I have applied for a pageant and I'm absolutely honoured to of been offered a place as a finalist. Any additional funds raised will be used to sponsor the purchase of outfits for the event.

Like many I have struggled with my weight since being at school. Always felt societal pressures to look pretty and nice but never quite feeling it. It's only been over the last 4/5 years I actually begun a journey of acceptance. Accepting who I am, be it big or small, and embracing it.

The Plus Size Community is a wonderful place and helping more and more people everyday understand their bodies a little better and empowering others and working on raising people up.

My journey is a constant one but if there is any culmination to it then it would be taking part in Mrs British Beauty Curve 2017 and to use an old cliché it's proof that if I can do it, then really anyone can.
