I run a local clearance company. We collect a lot of goods that people want to get rid off. Generally these items are sold for profit or given to charity.
We DO charge to take goods away and that's how the business runs.
However, there is a way to make a slight difference and that would be to auction/sell the items and give 100% of the money to a chosen charity.
How it will work....
I have set up a page called Deal Town Charity Auction  (which I need EVERYONE to share)
I will sell the goods from this page.
The charity will be on a rotational basis changing every two months.
I will set up a 'just giving' account each time we appoint a new charity and every time an item is purchased on the page the payment will be made directly in to this account meaning it goes direct to the charity.
When a payment/donation is made we would ask that you fill in the form using your full name and details with a reference  so we know who has paid for what item. Once paid for, the item will be available for collection. Should you need it delivered this can be arranged at a further cost.
We will be accepting item donations but they will need to be of high standard as we will try to maximise potential sales earning as much as we can for each charity.
In addition, we invite local businesses to offer any services that can be sold and all proceeds would be paid for in the same way and all money goes to charity.
We have looked at lots of local charities and all are as important as each other. This will be a rotational fund raising scheme so all selected charities will receive a donation.
We would like to start by donating to Kelly Turner and this will run for three months while we set up and expand the page. Then we have our next entry in place for two months and it will continue to change in that fashion.
I will try to put in as much as I can dependant on the jobs that I receive.
