hi all i am krispin gardiner i am a para cyclist , i have cerebral palsy i was born on the m4 motorway In the back of a ambulance seven weeks early meaning i had a lack of oxygen to my brain , i had no knowledge to the fact i had cp in till i was nine, doctors had told me i had a twisted heme that would straighten out as i grow but my mum had a sense that it was something different and when i was nine i had a MRI that measures brain activity which showed i had a unresponsive part of my brain on the right which controls the left side of my body meaning my left side is weaker and my leg turns in.

In 2012 I met Mark colbourn MBE and after a talk with him i was riding for BCDS and training in newport in the velodrome and after a few months of hard work i was competing in my first event , on the track form then i have been working to improve, I was the 2016 youth national champion i am riding for bristol road club and being coached by PDQ /Pretty Damm Quick cycle coaching byJason Streather British Cycling Cycle Coach level 2 and training level 3 who has helped me get to the level i am right now , my goal for this year is to retain my national champion's jersey and to get a place in the bc set up
