    Story

Lolly was 17 and had a passion for life - she loved her family/studying and English literature. Lolly had an asthma attack that led to a cardiac arrest and we lost our princess.
Lolly always wanted to be a respiritatory Physio as they had patched her up so many times over the years. She was a frequent patient in the peadiatric unit at Walsall Manor Hospital and we her family feel it's only right to honour the amazing support and work they have put in over the years with Lolly. We are hoping to raise enough money to fund the respiratory team to reach more young people affected by asthma like Lolly. It was her wish to save lives.

Lolly was brittle asthmatic and people really misunderstand the impact asthma has on daily life - asthma uk report that there is a possible fatal asthma attack every 10 seconds in the UK and we want to raise the profile of this illness.

Lolly always said it's not easy being wheezy and throughout her teens we saw first hand how debilitating the illness can be yet Lolly always tried to dismiss how serious her condition was playing down how poorly she felt and she always gave her time and live freely to others in her life.

Lolly was an amazing sister to Nicola/Kerry and Stuart and her extended siblings Jason/Big Lauren: Kayleigh and Reid, Lolly had her whole life mapped out and she would have been so successful so it's only right we carry her wish to help others forward. Please please donate and raise awareness and provide support and care to other young people who are facing this illness.

So we sailed past our target! We still have donations coming in and on 4th March the In Crowd Walsall will be holding a ska/Motown charity event with proceeds going to the #hugsforlolly campaign! Amazingly one Lady named Tracey will be having her head shaved and the money she raises will also be added to our total so that gets me thinking if there is any other fundraisers out there! Who would undertake a challenge on our behalf? All money we raise really will make such a difference to the lives of others! thankyou so much for your support

Hey Everyone - we have passed our original target with ease - we also have a considerable amount to bank in the coming days that was raised at the celebration of Lolly's life and I want to thank every single person who has given money/shared our cause and been there for my Family and I during this time! It's made me realise that we can do so much more in Lolly's memory than the plucked our the air figure I set that sounded like a lot of money!

So today we lay you to rest! We ain't far off this target beaut 😘 This has to be the hardest thing we have all had to ever do! Walk away and leave you knowing we have to carry you in our hearts instead of our arms! Goodbye's are the hardest part when the story wasn't finished so I'm determined with the rest of our tribe to write a story in your name to make you proud - please people I ask you to donate! Leave a legacy Lolly would be proud of and save others facing the same horrible illness she did!
