Liz's mum lost her battle with cervical a couple of years ago and struggled greatly through chemo therapy and radiation. This was a devastating loss for her family.
Last year Liz was diagnosed with stage 2-3B cervical cancer and went through a radical hysterectomy procedure to remove the tumour.
Sadly she was diagnosed with recurring cervical cancer in December 2016 and has been in and out of hospital due to complications.
She's been given devastated news that not much more can be done. However Liz has not given up this fight vs cancer and is seeking alternative treatment in Europe.
