We bought our Puppy last June as we knew our old dog was coming to the end of his life, he died in September and we couldn't bear to be without a dog.

In the Autumn we noticed that Loki was lame on occasions which steadily got worse over the next few months. Our vet x-rayed him and he found he has right hip dysplasia. He is now 10 months old.

We have since been referred to a specialist and after our first consultation yesterday with them we have been told he needs a total hip replacement. They also found mild dysplasia in his right elbow and a problem with a bone in his foot on the same leg as his hip. Our insurance is only has £2,000 of cover and we have basically used that already and we haven't got as far as the operation yet!

He is a sweet little lad, who is unable to play and just be a puppy at the moment, he is fun and just wants to live life in the fast lane, so frustrating for him.

So we are just wondering if our lovely Airedale friends and facebook friends and relatives would be willing to give a little money to help our baby boy get the hip he needs to improve his quality of life, anything would be greatly appreciated as this is going to be a monster of a bill.
The operation will be a minimum of £5,500 so everything donated will be greatly appreciated.
