Story
My name is Luke, I'm 29 years old and I'm a fit and healthy lad.
Just over two and a half months ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and then to add insult to injury I was also told I had secondary cancer in the form of a brain metastasis...I'm a medical mystery so the specialists keep telling me.
I've now had brain surgery on my metastasis and I have this week finished my 20th session of radiotherapy...safe to say my chest is in pieces but nothing some R&R won't fix. I'm also 2 out of 4 seven hour chemotherapy sessions down.
A good friend of mine recently ran the Auckland marathon and his inspiration was my attitude to this disease, so he had some wrist bands made up sporting the hashtags I've been using #teamHarding #togetherstronger. He never gave up and neither will I.
He had plenty of bands left and has sent them over to me. So me and the family have had a chat and what we'd like to do is sell the bands and then donate all the proceeds to Ward 10 at Withybush hospital.
Ward 10 have been instrumental and phenomenal throughout all of this and have been there day and night for myself and my family.

Your generosity leaves me speechless...I want you all to know that your donations no matter how small or big, each penny will go towards making a difference to someone's life who's battling cancer. Let's see how far we can go then... We have sold all the bands we had so today we ordered 400 more that will be here sometime next week, so fear not if you will get yours as soon as the next batch is in.
