Glasgow is a multicultural city populated with people from all walks of life. At Annette Street Primary School, it’s no different.

We are a group of business students from Strathclyde University and to kick of 2017, we want to make a change to the lives of everyday people and we’re inviting you to join us!

We are raising funds for Annette Street Primary School located in Govanhill, Glasgow. Govanhill is known to be an area with high poverty rates, and with the primary school receiving just minimal funding from the government they need all the help they can get.

Annette Street Primary School is known to be a very multicultural school. However, a lot of the pupils at this school do not speak English as their first language meaning communication between teachers and pupils, as well as their parents is difficult. With a low budget, it is hard for the school to break this barrier and ensure the children are receiving the best quality education they can.

Raising money for this school will help to improve the resources they have and improve the communication skills of the children which is vital as English is the most predominant language in Scotland. The teachers at this school work tirelessly to support the pupils and give them the best experience possible, it’s important that these teachers know they have the support of the community in Glasgow and general public nationwide.

Let’s make a difference to these childrens lives and give them the same chance we had!
