    Story

This challenge has been a dream for a long time. The task in hand will be as demanding on the mind as it will be brutal on the body and I would argue that it is one of the toughest foot races/challenges in the world!!
Why I am I doing this? Well I love the Pembs Coast Path and a Challenge and adding the time constraints make this the ultimate challenge in one of the best corners of the world

At first I was going to attempt this privately, but having discussing it with others, who were keen to be involved, The idea grew to why not have a few of us and try and raise awareness and some funds for charity in the process.

The two charities chosen both assist in fighting the cause for an illness that casts a dark shadow over modern life and in many circles is still a taboo subjects

The DPJ Foundation a newly formed Pembs Charity, which is now spreading across Wales. Their vision is to help men in the rural communities in dealing with Depression and Anxiety related Mental Health. The Founder and trustees have a real vision about providing meaningful services and support to those who need it.

Safe Horizon UK are an independent charity giving support to members of the Blue light public services suffering with psychological injuries such as PTSD and depression.

It's an Unfortunate situation that we face today whereby a number of factors from working conditions, pressures and exposure within these environments can lead to a number of difficulties, which in turn can lead to conditions that destroy peoples wellbeing, mental health and life as they know it.

What these to charities are doing is vital in helping those who feel they have nowhere else to turn.

We are running this event 16th - 18th July if you are interested in being involved get in touch

We have already raised £215 in donations which have been utilised to aid a member of Safe Horizon to attend a much needed wellness break and receive support services
