Ey Up, we’re Becky and Kat - two proactive local lasses who are all things creative. We’re turning our attention to the decaying public art on Mary Street, Scunthorpe. It’s been in disrepair for as long as we remember and we are going to change that using our combined skills as artists, poet and curator. Our vision is a community mural where we will invite the public to get involved with the painting.

To achieve this, we’re going to need our community's help. Funds raised will primarily go towards materials, like paint and scaffolding. We’d also like to pay organisations to document this project, like film makers. Only after these will we consider paying ourselves a fee for our planning and our time.

We are currently investigating legal permissions for the Mary Street location, but if we cannot use this location we will use all funds to paint another location in Scunthorpe Town Centre. Thank you for reading and thank you for all donations & support towards the new Mary Street Mural.
