Story
Megan Rembridge loved life and made the most of every day. She was a young, pretty and confident woman. Megan had everything she ever dreamed of, Lee was the love of her life and together they had two beautiful young children, Zara aged 3 and Rocco aged 1. Megan also played a key role in the upbringing of her step children Lewis and Annabel with whom she shared a really warm and loving relationship with.
In January this year, Megan received the devastating news that she had stage four breast cancer. Sadly, Megan was taken from this life far too soon.
Megan had made it known to Lee that she would love to have a bench placed on Deal promenade for Lee, the children, family and friends to remember her.
Therefore, perhaps we can all raise the funds to make Megan's wish happen. Hopefully sufficient funds will be raised, any excess funds donated will be passed to Cancer Research UK.

7 years agoDear all, On behalf of Lee, he would like to thank all of you for your kind support. The total raised smashed through the target. So enough money has been raised for the bench and plenty left over to donate to Cancer Research UK. With regards to the bench itself an application has been made to Dover Council. It is hoped that the bench will be placed opposite Walmer Castle on the seafront in time for Christmas. Thanks again.

The fact that the target has been achieved in its first day reflects how popular Megan was. Please keep the donations coming to support Megan and Lee's wishes.
