Weʼve raised £475 to Fund new mini ski boots,Rollerskis and ski poles for our grass roots school rollerski project. We also want to raise awareness of the sport.

Story
Throughout our careers we have both raced internationally in cross country skiing and have won a number of national rollerski races. Currently we both work within the sport and fitness industry full time.
Our aim is to create a highly successful model to promote the sport within primary school children. Ultimately, we would like to get the children enjoying the sport whilst learning.Our aim is to encourage mini athletes to carry on with the sport in the future. We could even find potential Winter Olympians.
So far we are very excited to have secured three weekly after school rollerski sessions, which will start in January. We will offer quality, new equipment with trained and experienced coaches. Sessions will be for beginners with students learning new skills and techniques through drills and games (stuck in the mud, tag etc). Current classes will focus on year's 1-5 and we aim to expand into more school in the future.

Massive thank you to everyone who has donated and supported our schools rollerski project. We now have lots of children taking up the sport on a weekly basis and our aim is to increase this number every term. Here's to a great future in childrens rollerskiing in the Thames Valley area.

Our Hillingdon rollerski day is this Sunday, with all proceeds raised going to fund junior rollerski equipment. Please share and donate if you can... Many thanks again

8 years agoAwesome news, we have just placed an order for 15 pairs of mini ski boots with Rollerski Co today. We will be getting them in the next few weeks. we are looking forward to using them with our school children in January. Thanks so much for everyone's support so far!
