Soben is a 25 year old Cambodian, living in Battambang. His daily job is being a “Tuk Tuk” driver and he gets his only income through tourists. No tourists = No money.
He also has another job. Teaching at a local school. This job gives him even a lower income than "Tuk Tuk" driving as he only works there 2 days a week.

He has showed me all of the hidden locations around the city and told me his life story and current situation. Through his stories, shared laughter and amazing heart and personality, we became very good friends at the end of the day, which ended with him inviting me to a dinner and paying for me. I was shocked because I know that he does not have much money and struggles each month due to lack of real, constant income.

Soben has finished education in "“IT"” and enjoying doing things on his computer as it is his passion and hobby. He has told me that his computer is very old and does not work very well anymore. I believe that he deserves a NEW laptop. His goal is to buy a new laptop by the end of 2017 but hearing his stories and how he does not even have enough money to pay his rent each month, I doubt that it is even possible.
He has showed me he has a good heart by having nothing but hope and smiling each day. He deserves it.

His dream is to go to University and study IT and English which costs $330 /per year, per course. I want to make his dream reality.
University will help him towards his better future and better job possibilities.
