Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
Justin and I are cycling 165 miles to every single South Wales Premier League cricket ground over two hopefully dry and sunny early days at the start of April.
All donations that we receive will support the Tom Maynard Trust (nominated charity for the ride), Macmillan Cancer Support (as suggested by our Donna) and Miskin Manor Cricket Club.
Alternatively to using this site, donate personally by catching either Justin or I at Winter Nets over the coming two months.
To see the work of the TMT or Macmillan Cancer Support, visit their websites at:
https://macmillan.org.uk/
and
http://www.tommaynardtrust.com/
MMCC currently play in division 2 of the SWPL and are a thriving, friendly club that run three adult sides, a casual Sunday side, U19 team and have a large, thriving junior section serving kids from 5- 15 years old.
As for all SWPL cricketers supporting this ride, the intention is to donate 25% to the TMT, 25% to MacMillan Cancer Support & the rest to MMCC.
It's also never too late to dust down the rusting mountain bike in the shed and join us!
The those interested, the route:
Carmarthen > Ammanford 18m > Pontardullais 7m > Clydach 9m > Ynystawe 0.5m > Mumbles & Swansea 11m > Ynysygerwyn 16m > Neath 3m > Port Talbot 6m > Tata Steel 0.5m > Bridgend 12m > Tondu 4m > Miskin 15m > St Fagans 6m (HALF WAY POINT) > Cardiff 4m > Newport F 14m > Panteg 9m > Newport 11m > Penarth 19m
Thanks.
Paul & Justin.

7 years agoDear all, Thanks for your donations - much appreciated. Justin and I are setting off in a couple of weeks on this trek. Just to let you know that we are having to open another donations page because the original has expired due to my rather dubious social media skills. Don't be surprised if you see another link appearing soon. Again thanks. Think of us on the weekend of 8/9th April - especially if the Welsh weather does its thing and drenches us for 48 hours solid. Paul.

As a group of finely honed, focused, single minded athletes, we are cycling over two days (April 8-9th) 165 miles to visit all SWPL cricket grounds in aid of two worthwhile causes (see below) and Miskin Manor Cricket Club which runs three adult sides and a large junior section.
