Mortimer is a complexe young man, who has been through lots of surgery for many different problems he has faced. Mortimer loves the vibration of Music and although the hospital has suggested that he has no hearing at all i.e. He is profoundly deaf. He does enjoy the vibration of the music, hears the dog barking and has acknowledged other sounds. A new hearing aid would benefit him massively to enhance these sounds and give him a better quality of life. He has a complexe visiting hospitals, it causes him lots of stress. The NHS are taking a long time to see him. To provide this for him privately the cost is £1500 which I can't afford alone being recently seperated from Mortimer's wealthy father who is refusing to provide adequately for his children, and more importantly to help with Mortimer's disability.
