This lovely lady had paid some horrible "builder" £16,000 to build an extension to make life easier for her and her husband. Unfortunately whilst the build was ongoing her husband passed away. The "builder" continued the work and continued to take money. The whole build is a mess and unsafe, so much so it has to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch. The majority of the materials can't be reused. Steven, Andy and David at Premier Building (Northern) Ltd, have shared this story with the Builders Talk Group on Facebook, and so many of their members have offered their time for free. The funding from this will be used towards materials and possibly food and lodging if required as we have people from London offering their time. Mrs Johnson has agreed to pursue the original "builder" through trading standards and the police. We want to give her the extension she deserves on the inside and out and hopefully restore her faith in humanity and builders.
