Story
My best friends wedding.
Hi everyone, welcome to my just giving page. I've created this page 'my best friends wedding' for just that. My wonderful best friend Emma is planning her wedding and for this special day Emma has one wish, as every girl does. For her dad Peter to walk her down the isle. Emma's dad has recently been diagnosed with cancer and sadly won't be with us for as long as we'd hoped for.
Emma's partner David popped the question in hope that he can make all her dreams come true with her dad there by her side to give her away on their special day.
Emma, David and their beautiful little boy Nathan are planning the big day. (With secret help from us 🙊) The wedding is on the 4th of June 2017!! And as you can imagine we have lots to organise!
To help Emma and David I am asking for a small donation towards this very special day. Anything from £1 to £10 would be very much appreciated. It may not seem much, but anything I can do to help I will. I'd pay for the whole wedding if I could. Emma has been one of my best friends for the last 14 years. My first boss, my big sister figure, my truest friend and I just want to make this day as perfect as I can for her and her family. Memories with her dad she can cherish forever.

Have been there and my sister did exactly the same thing when our dad was given 6 months with terminal cancer out of the blue. Thinking about you Emma. It's all about making memories now 💖

Losing my gran and grandad 6 months apart was heartbreaking but i took solace in fact both of them were still here to be at my wedding and grandad walked me down the isle.
