Hi Everyone I am raising money to hold an event to bring people together and raise awareness for Crohn's and Colitis and also to raise funds for North East Crohn's and Colitis Trust(NECCT) in April 2018 and i want it to be the biggest event in Scotland for IBD awareness.
The plan is to have a dinner dance, with some big named acts attended some that already in the line of getting booked including Red Hot Chilli Pipers, then a band and a disco, with a raffle with lots of amazing prizes, some which i have already have secured.
We will also talk about and make people aware of the diseases, how it effects peoples lives and to also raise funds for NECCT. and speak about what they do how they are helping people who suffer from this disease, and explain there main aim to research new treatments and hopefully a cure one day.

This is a very personal appeal to me as my partner was diagnosed with Crohn's when she was 16 years old and she has had several major operations ultimately shortening and limiting her life. She has suffered terribly in the last couple of years as she has the most aggressive and one of the most complex form of Crohn's not responding to treatments or having severe adverse effect coming close to death on several occasion and in the last couple of weeks has been told there is no longer anything else which they can do for her and is now under palliative care, however thanks to the help of the doctors from NECCT my partner has been privileged be the first to trial some experimental and new treatments although they have not worked for her, they have used the results to go ahead and help others.

So please join me and help me raise awareness for Crohn's and Colitis and to raise funds for North East Crohn's and Colitis Trust.
