We are a charity that was set up in November 2014 in the beautiful rolling
Hills of Oswaldtwistle Moor. Over the Past two 1/2 years we have been providing riding therapy lessons for people of all ages, learning difficulties & disabilities
This has only been made possible through small donations given for the riding lessons provided and the support from our wonderful team of volunteers and instructors who have worked tirelessly to get the North East Lancs R.D.A Riding Group up & running.
Our aim is to be able to provide much needed equestrian therapies to the local community, which will benefit disabled children and adults with in the North-East area. Thus, giving them the opportunity to fully experience the benefits of equestrian based sports and therapy's.
As well as providing some much need respite for parents and carers we are also offering opportunities for volunteers, able bodied or disabled to acquire a recognised qualification in Equestrianism.
Horse riding improves physical fitness, posture, muscle tone, balance, cognitive skills, respiration and self-control. It is also a great aid to relaxation, a way of meeting new people, making new friends and finally a way of promoting equality and understanding.

Finally: HAVING FUN

For us to continue with our good work we need to raise more funds as the small donations do not cover our daily running costs.
