Story
After being selected as part of the ACGB crew back in May, I was tasked to raise £2000 for the team. I will be doing this in a number of ways including quiz nights, a sponsored leg wax and several fitness challenges.
Having trained with the team back in July, it's great to find a group of like minded individuals who I will be alongside in Russia.
Having done Gig Rowing since 2011 I am honoured to be able to represent my country in this sport. When coming to University unfortunately I was no longer able to carry on with the sport and turned instead to conventional rowing with the university team as well as RAF Rowing, Castle Dore RC and Llandaff RC.
I'm glad this opportunity gives me a chance to return to my rowing routes and build on my sailing skills I gained as a youngster.
