Story
As many of you will know on the 7th of November 2015 our beautiful baby boy Oisin Kevin was born into the world. Sadly, Oisin was born with a condition called LUTO with PUV which caused many problems with his lungs and kidneys. After a short but brave fight and outstanding neo natal care Oisin passed away 7 hours and 11 minutes after he was born.
Kevin and I want to do something in Oisin's memory and to make him proud of us. We have decided (with the help of our two great families and friends) to put forward two teams for the Belfast Marathon to raise funds for the Neo Natal Unit in the Royal. This unit not only provided the essential care that gave Oisin the best possible chance of survival but it did so with such great care, love and support. Through a truly awful time the nurses and doctors made everything that bit easier for us as parents and most importantly for our wee man.
During our short time there we got to see first hand the essential machinery, equipment and medicine that is needed for this unit along with all the other smaller day to day things required to keep it running. The money raised will go to the unit to help other wee babies in their time of need.

7 years ago**last chance** A HUGE thank you to all the very generous people that have so kindly donated in memory of our wee man. We have been truly overwhelmed by everybody's generiousity. Along with cash donations we have raised over £4000. I honestly can't thank you all enough. A very special thanks to those that fund raised separately; my lovely cousin Maria, my brother in law Dan, my two sisters in law Paula and Jayne and my good friend Louise - who's work colleagues raised £500. Our page closes tomorrow so those of you who still wish to donate. Xxx

7 years agoSix more sleeps until our two teams take on the Belfast Marathon. We picked up our tshirts today (modelled by Oisin's two big sisters). A HUGE thanks to everyone who has donated or shared our post, it really really means a lot. We are well on our way to doubling our original target which would be just amazing for this great cause. Xx
