Ollie was diagnosed with SMA type 1 in October 2016 after having a chest infection and was taken into hospital.
Ollie's health took a turn for worst and he ended up at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
Ollie spent 6 weeks in intensive care before being moved to the respiratory ward for a further 6 weeks.
Ollie requires 24 hr care from his mum and dad and also a nurse 7 nights a week to give them well earned rest to carry out his care during the day.
Due to Ollie's health requirements his parents Jason and Vicky have had to give up there jobs to care for him on a full time basis.
Ollie will require lots of equipment now and in the future to help him with his condition so the money will help in all aspects of Ollie's care and help him have the best life he can.
