Somerset Ladies in Business is a new networking group within Taunton. This year we have decided it would be a wonderful thing to do some good within the local community and help Taunton's Homeless this Christmas.

Our campaign is called Operation Secret Santa.

We are supporting 2 local charities:-

* Taunton Open Door - is a day centre for rough sleepers. It is where individuals are able to, wash clothes, eat, learn new skills and be able to access other provisions. Open Door only receives a very small grant from TDBC and survives purely on volunteers and donations made by the local community.

* Taunton Association for the Homeless is a larger organisation and receives a much larger grant from TDBC. They work with individuals with the aim to get them into permanent accommodation.

We have a variety of ways that everyone is able to help. Raising money is just one way of doing this. Please visit our website for all of the information on ways you are able to help to make Christmas better for the homeless of Taunton:-

Any amount whether it is small or large will go along way to providing food, clothes, support and all of the other things to keep these places going.
