    Story

We believe we can help children living in Yorkshire affected by the Manchester arena attack with our trauma recovery therapy.
We were recently contacted by Police and parents of victims from the Manchester Arena attack and would like to provide FREE trauma recovery therapy for the children who need it. There are currently 20+ children in need of this and their parents who were with them and need to support them at home.
We are now providing group work for parents and working with schools to provide education for teachers/SEN staff again for free.
We cannot do this without your help to help us.
We are a specialist trauma clinic for children and young people, we need funding and donations for this project to be a success.
We need to pay expenses to the volunteers and counsellors who are giving their time and this also means more bills for running the service here at the clinic.

This therapy will not be a quick fix, this is about helping to recover from a very traumatic event and could take a long time. we are committed to providing this for these children but cannot do this alone.

We are getting more enquiries, clearly there has been a delay in how some people feel and are affected by this. We still need your help so we can help the new referrals. Please keep sharing, we have a long way to go financially and emotionally.

Thank you so very much to those who have donated. We are now looking to run a group for the children and their parents as this is going to be so helpful too. Please email Sarie and Jacci if you have taken them up on their very kind and generous offer of the "parenting your anxious child course" You are very kind and compassionate, each and every one of you. Thank you. xx
